1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) and that you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the store or place an order.
2. About the Store
We sell physical books and ebooks through our online store. Physical books are shipped within Australia. Ebooks are delivered digitally.
3. Account Registration
You may need to create an account to place orders or access certain features. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and update it if it changes.
4. Products and Descriptions
We aim to describe products accurately. Colours, images, and descriptions are for illustration only. Minor variations may occur. Product availability is subject to stock.
5. Orders and Contract Formation
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we accept the order by sending an order confirmation email (after successful payment). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (for example, due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud) and will refund any payment already made.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is required in full at the time of order. See our Billing and Payment Policy for details on accepted methods, processing, and refunds.
7. Shipping (Physical Books)
Physical books are shipped free within Australia via standard shipping. Estimated delivery is 4–8 business days after dispatch. See our Shipping Policy for full details on processing times, tracking, delivery addresses, and Authority to Leave.
We do not offer express shipping or international shipping.
8. Ebooks
Ebooks are delivered digitally after payment clears. Access or a download link is provided electronically. Ebooks are non-refundable once access has been provided, except where a remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Returns and Refunds Policy.
9. Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees
Physical books may be returned for change of mind within 14 days if unused and in original condition. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are remedied under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or any other rights that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the website (text, images, logos, design) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Ebooks are licensed to you for personal use only. You may not share, resell, redistribute, or publicly display them.
11. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the store for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the website’s operation or security
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the store or systems
- Submit false or misleading information
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law):
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
- Our liability for any claim relating to a product or the store is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product, or the remedies available under the ACL, whichever is greater
We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Privacy
We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.
14. Changes to the Store or Terms
We may update the website, products, or these Terms at any time. The version of the Terms in effect at the time of your order applies to that order. Continued use of the store after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in full force.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Shipping Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy, and Billing and Payment Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the store and purchases.
