This Billing and Payment Policy applies to all purchases of physical books and ebooks from our online store. It forms part of our terms of sale.
1. Currency and Pricing
All prices are displayed and charged in Australian dollars (AUD).
Prices include GST where applicable. Printed books and most other goods sold in Australia are subject to GST at the rate of 10%. Ebooks are also subject to GST.
The total price (including any applicable GST and shipping) is shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
2. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and others as displayed at checkout)
- Other methods that may be offered at checkout (such as PayPal or similar services)
The available payment options are shown during the checkout process. We reserve the right to add or remove payment methods at any time.
3. When Payment Is Taken
Payment is required in full at the time of order. We do not offer lay-by, instalments, or “pay later” options unless specifically stated at checkout.
Your payment is authorised and processed when you place the order. The order is confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed.
4. Order Confirmation
After successful payment you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your order (subject to stock availability and any other conditions stated in our policies).
5. Failed or Declined Payments
If a payment is declined or fails, the order will not be processed. You may attempt the order again with a valid payment method.
We are not responsible for delays or non-fulfilment caused by failed payments.
6. Pricing Errors
While we take care to display accurate prices, errors can occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you and offer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
7. Refunds
Refunds are processed in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. The time taken for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and is typically 5–10 business days after we process the refund.
Ebooks are non-refundable once access or a download link has been provided, except where a remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law (for example, if the file is faulty or inaccessible).
8. Security
We use secure payment processing. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our servers. We do not have access to your full card number.
9. GST and Tax Invoices
A tax invoice is available for every order. You can download it from your order confirmation email or from your account (where available). The invoice shows the GST component where applicable.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Billing and Payment Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order.
