Welcome to Thereads — Australia’s online bookstore for books and ebooks.
We’re a proudly Australian company built by book lovers who wanted a simpler, more personal way to discover great stories. Whether you prefer the feel of a real book in your hands or the convenience of an ebook on your device, we’re here to help you find your next favourite read — and get it to you quickly, wherever you are in Australia.
Our Story
Thereads began with a simple idea: Australians deserve an online bookstore that feels local, knows what we like to read, and makes buying books (and ebooks) effortless.
We started by focusing on Australian authors, publishers and stories that don’t always get the attention they deserve, while still stocking the latest international bestsellers, classics, non-fiction, kids’ books and more. Today we offer hundreds of thousands of titles, with fast shipping across the country and instant ebook downloads so you never have to wait for a great story.
What We Offer
- Physical books shipped quickly and securely to your door anywhere in Australia
- Ebooks available for instant download so you can start reading straight away
- Bestsellers, new releases, classics, children’s books, non-fiction, and everything in between
- Competitive prices and regular specials
